Diecast Models Matchbox / Oxford Diecast Pair of Vintage Delivery Vans Brooke Bond PG Tips Tea Both Matchbox and Oxford Diecast hold proud places in the history of diecast model making in the UK, and both have maximised on opportunities to produce models for companies and organisations who wished to have models bearing their own liveries for marketing and promotional purposes. These two models depict vintage delivery vans in the livery of Brooke Bond PG Tips Tea. The Matchbox Model (MB38) is a Ford Model A Van, and was given away in an on-pack promotional offer to commemorate the company's 50th anniversary. The Oxford Diecast Model (038TG) is the iconic Ford Model T Van. 40,000 of these were produced for Brooke Bond to give away to customers in the catering trade, but a further 10,000 were made, with slight changes, for this "Edited Edition", and each had its own individually numbered certificate. Good pre-owned condition. Matchbox model in original mailing box, and Oxford Diecast model in original box and complete with numbered certificate. Boxes have minor wear, but no serious rips, splits or creases. Models themselves are clean and very good condition, only having been removed from boxes to photograph.
